Here are some recommended attractions you won’t want to miss:
Contemporary Art Gallery
The Contemporary Art Gallery is a space for artists to express their creativity. One of the exhibitions on display, titled “Renik Memantik” by students of the Faculty of Art and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology (FSRD ITB), explores personal anxieties interwoven with complex social and daily life issues, resulting in a spectrum of perspectives. The exhibition is open daily from 08.00 to 17.00 WIB. Admission is Rp25,000.
Tirta Cerita Fountain Show
Tirta Cerita Fountain is an iconic show created by Indonesian artists, combining advanced technology with Indonesia’s cultural wealth to deliver a stunning visual and audio experience. Through a waterscreen, this show brings to life popular folk tales, such as Mouse-Deer and the Crocodile, The Golden Snail, and Roro Jonggrang, among others. Held at Promenade Plaza, this performance is free with your TMII entrance ticket.
Cable Car Ride
A trip to TMII wouldn’t be complete without exploring the miniature map of Indonesia from above at the Archipelago Lake. Offering a bird’s eye view, the cable car ride presents a thrilling journey across Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke. With a total of 81 cabins, visitors can enjoy a scenic experience for Rp50,000 on weekdays and Rp60,000 on weekends.
Komodo Museum & Reptile Park
The Komodo Museum & Reptile Park exhibits native fauna from across the archipelago, stretching from Sumatra to Papua. Inside, visitors can see a variety of live reptiles, including the famous Komodo dragon. The museum also offers interactive experiences with these unique creatures. Tickets are priced at Rp45,000 on weekdays and Rp55,000 on weekends.
