The Museum of Electricity and Renewable Energy (MLEB), is one of the scientific museums managed by PT PLN (Persero) located at TMII. MLEB is entrusted with the task of collecting, researching, communicating, and exhibiting the historical legacy and valuable artifacts in the field of electricity and renewable energy. This includes a comprehensive exploration of the general history, the history of basic sciences, the development of interactive science and technology demonstrations, and various aspects of energy utilization across various societal layers for educational, research, and entertainment purposes.
Designed with reference to the architectural concept of an “Atomic Structure” footprint, where one proton is surrounded by three electrons, the building comes in the form of the Electric Pavilion surrounded by three other buildings, which are the Renewable Energy Pavilion, Fossil Energy Pavilion, and Conventional Energy Pavilion.
MLEB offers additional facilities such as a kids playground, a 5-dimensional theater, accommodation, meeting rooms, a sports field, a mosque, and a serene green open space to enhance visitor comfort while enjoying special moments in a modern ambiance.
