Standing majestically at the Lampung Pavilion, Penataran Agung Kertabhumi Hindu Dharma Temple is a place of worship for Hindus. Situated between the Haleluya Protestant Christian Church and the Buddhist Vihara, this temple draws inspiration from the Balinese temples. Its construction adheres to the philosophy of Asta Kosala Kosali, a set of principles governing the architectural concept aligned with the religious beliefs of the Balinese society.
Pura Penataran Agung Kertabhumi comprises several main buildings. The main entrance, Candi Bentar, serves as the gateway for grand ceremonies (Yadnya). Balai Gong is utilized for artistic performances, while Balai Kul-Kul serves as a location to keep the traditional slit drums. Additionally, there are the Padu Rasa and Atlar, dedicated spaces for worship (pad masana). This temple, located in TMII, transcends mere architectural significance, embodying a spiritual symbol that embraces beauty and meaning within the philosophical essence of life.
