Bank DKI and Bhiva Join Forces to Support Electronic Transactions and Ticketing System at TMII
Jakarta, August 3, 2025 – Bank DKI and PT Bhumi Visatanda Indonesia (Bhiva), the operational manager of facilities and attractions within the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) complex, have entered into a collaboration to implement an integrated electronic transaction and ticketing system at TMII. The initiative was officially launched through a Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony between Herry Djufraini, Commercial and Institutional Director of Bank DKI, and Intan Ayu Kartika, President Director of Bhiva, in Jakarta on Wednesday, August 3.
According to Herry Djufraini, this collaboration marks a joint commitment to advancing digital payment innovation, especially within the TMII area. “As one of Indonesia’s major national tourism destinations, the integration of an electronic transaction system is expected to enhance the visitor experience with faster, safer, and more efficient payment processes,” he stated.
Through this partnership, Bank DKI will provide the infrastructure for a cashless payment ecosystem at TMII, including Main Entrance Ticketing Systems, Unit Entrance Ticketing, Ticket Vending Machines, and the installation of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machines at various counters and merchants to facilitate payments using ATM cards, credit cards, and debit cards. The collaboration also includes Payment Gateway services, website integration, and support for the TMII Mobile App.
Herry further emphasized that this agreement aligns with Bank DKI’s vision to become Jakarta’s preferred bank. “By offering a wide range of innovative digital products and services, such as JakCard and JakOne Mobile, Bank DKI remains committed to improving financial inclusion and expanding public access to financial services,” he added.
Meanwhile, TMII President Director Intan Ayu Kartika highlighted that this digitalization effort aligns with one of TMII’s core pillars: smart. “TMII continues to innovate and transform into a cultural and recreational hub that remains relevant in the future, by embracing technology to deliver an enhanced visitor experience. I believe this collaboration is only the beginning of a broader partnership between TMII and Bank DKI in supporting innovation in the tourism sector,” she remarked.
Separately, Arie Rinaldi, Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, stated, “Through an integrated electronic payment system, Bank DKI is optimistic it can deliver real benefits not only for TMII visitors but also for operators and merchants across the TMII complex, helping to improve operational efficiency and streamline transaction reconciliation,” he concluded.
