Feel the vibrancy of Indonesian youth creativity at the Contemporary Art Gallery. As a stage that brings artistic expression to life, this gallery not only displays a variety of thematic artworks, but also offers interactive activities such as painting on mini canvases and tote bags, creating 3D pop-up artworks, and even an open mic poetry reading event called “Mendadak Puitis” that all visitors can participate in.
The charm of the past and the spirit of the present come together in a modern musical performance entitled Tirta Cerita, a collaboration between art and technology that presents fragments of Indonesian folklore. Featuring captivating musical arrangements and immersive video mapping, this artistic performance is free for all visitors to TMII and ready to take guests on a journey through time in the Archipelago area every day at 6:30 PM. On weekends, a dance performance by 300 drones adds to the festive atmosphere.
Exploring TMII is not complete without riding the Cable Car, where each stop is a window to the diversity and wonders of the archipelago. With three stations and a total of 81 cabins, this ride is ready to take visitors flying in the air while exploring the charm of the Indonesian archipelago from Sabang to Merauke.
